Today’s students are the first generation of the 21st century. Teachers, and parents face the task of preparing students for emerging new realities. Participation in Future Problem Solving:
- Develops the critical and creative thinking skills necessary to adapt to a changing world.
- Increases awareness of the future.
- Enhances communication & collaboration.
- Utilises an effective creative problem solving model encouraging youth to actively shape their future.
To become involved with FPS Australia, schools need to register in one of the learning options offered by FPS Australia. Teachers new to Future Problem Solving are also encouraged to attend a coach training workshop.
Do you have experience with FPS or have an interest in FPS? We look for people who have had exposure to the Future Problem Solving program and process before. All new evaluators complete training, so we encourage you to contact us even if it has been awhile since you have been involved in FPS! Find out more, or sign up here!
The Future Scene is critical element of Global Issues Problem Solving.
If you are an experienced Scenario Writer and would like to continue your Future Problem Solving involvement beyond secondary school, we encourage you to contact the FPS National Office and inquire about joining the Future Scene writing team.
You are the strong support which keeps all the students confident and seek out new challenges. FPS offers an environment for developing leadership and a set of skills which will provide your children with unlimited opportunities in their future. Be an active part in their development.
