Adrian Meyer |
South Africa is the latest country to be mentored by FPSP Australia, the first from that continent. Following a visit by Niranjan Casinader in November 2006, the mentoring agreement was signed by Adrian Meyer, CEO of the National Youth Development Trust ( NYDT), based in Pretoria. It is intended that the first South African school teams will participate in the 2007 Australian Program, focusing primarily on Community Problem Solving. The model of South African involvement will be based on what Adrian has termed 'circles of quality', where well-resourced schools are linked to more disadvantaged schools, providing a strong FPS network that enhances the educational opportunities for children from all levels of South African society.
How to Register in the Future Problem Solving Program, Australia for 2008
Any South African schools who wish to find out more about the Future Problem Solving Program, or to enter teams into the Program, shoulds contact Adrian Meyer at the email address listed above. For 2008, all registrations from South Africa will be co-ordinated by Adrian, who will liase with FPSP Australia.
