On March 18th 2006, following the instigation of Judy McKinlay of Charles Darwin University, the first major FPS coach training session for over 15 years was held in Alice Springs, conducted by Niranjan Casinader, National Director.Click here to see a web gallery of photographs from that day.
The coach training was a remarkable success, culminating in the formation of the first FPS Territory Committee, the role of which is to provide a network to help schools and teachers who become involved in the Program, as well as to contribute to the national development of FPS through participation on the National Committee of Management. Any interested schools and teachers from anywhere in the Northern Territory are encouraged to contact the co-convenors or any committee member ( emails listed above) to find out more. An information pack can also be obtained from Suzanne Digby, Office Manager on office@fpsp.org.au.
In 2007, Living Waters Lutheran Primary School became the first NT team to compete in the National Finals. They won the Junior Action Plan Presentation and the FPS School Flag award!
